Photo Competition Scavenger Hunt

Remember to complete your Photo Competition Scavenger Hunt!

In April, we will be collecting and sharing lovely pictures of nature around our community.

Make sure you look out for all the different parts of nature. A bonus point if you find snow!

Our School Council

Our School Councillors were called to their vocation in the Autumn term and have been working hard to plan their improvements to the school. Here is what they have to say.

Y6

Sami - "We get to help other people happy."

Helen - "I feel like I have achieved some great things when everyone in school is happy with something I've organised."

Y5

Parsya - "I can be a good role model for everyone."

Karleigh - "We can plan fun things for the future and achieve the Live Simply Award."

Y4

Nevaeh - "In all the meetings, the ideas we come up with are really creative and we can share them with the rest of the school."

Nikita - "We can help everyone in school and I love helping everyone."

Y3

Nana - "I love helping people."

Michael - "I am happy to represent my class."

We have decided that we are going to be working towards the Live Simply Award. In our next meeting, we are going to discuss ideas that we can do as a school to help our school community, our local community and the global community.

It is our vocation to lead the family of St Paul's in this award as we aim to make the world a better place for everyone.

Singing Carols in the Local Community

  • On the 4th December, children from choir attended a retirement village to celebrate Christmas with the community.
  • On the weekend, every child was invited to Kings Norton Green to celebrate Christmas with everyone. They sang carols.
  • Nikita, from Year 4, said, “It was amazing because there were lots of people who came and wanted to see us sing. The choir loves making people happy.”

International Day of Peace

  • To celebrate Pope Francis' message on the International Day of Peace, the school council planned and prepared the prayer and liturgy for peace.
  • We all wrote prayers for peace which were then presented in Mass.
